Changsha Yingmada Culture Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the Malinguo mobile application ("the App"). Please read this policy carefully before using the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Phone number or email address and username (nickname) used for registration/login
• Learning Preferences: Selected game types, skill level, daily learning goals
• AI Coach (Mabao) Conversations: Your text conversations with Mabao, voice audio and its transcription during voice calls, and the learning-memory summary Mabao keeps for you (used solely to provide the service)
• Tile Photos: Photos of mahjong tiles you take or select when using "Tile Recognition" (used solely to recognize tiles)

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device model, OS version, unique device identifier
• Usage Data: Learning progress, quiz records, AI practice statistics, check-in records
• Network Information: Network type (WiFi/cellular) to ensure AI service connectivity

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• ❌ No access to contacts, SMS, or call logs
• ❌ No precise geolocation (GPS) data
• 📷 Camera/Photos: Accessed only when you actively use "Tile Recognition". Photos are sent over an encrypted channel to our server and forwarded to the Volcengine large-model service for tile recognition (see Section 4); they are not retained after recognition and not used for any other purpose
• 🎤 Microphone: Accessed only during Mabao voice calls. Audio is relayed in real time through our server (or sent directly by the App if the real-time channel is unavailable) to Volcengine's speech-recognition service (see Section 4), used solely to recognize what you say, and not retained
• 💳 Payment: Membership purchases are processed by the Apple App Store, other third-party app stores (Huawei/Xiaomi/OPPO/vivo, etc.) or WeChat Pay; we do not store your full payment credentials
• ❌ No gambling or real-money transactions of any kind

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide AI mahjong education and training services (courses, Mabao AI coach chat and voice calls, tile recognition, AI practice)
• Save your learning progress and achievement records
• Improve app experience and AI model performance
• Prevent abuse and ensure service security

3. Data Storage & Security

• Local Storage: Learning progress and preferences are stored locally on your device
• Server Storage: Account, learning records and Mabao conversation data are stored on servers located in China; the third-party AI provider's servers are also located in China
• Encrypted Transmission: All network communications use encryption
• Data Retention: Account data is deleted within 30 days after account deletion

4. Information Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Exceptions:

• With your explicit consent
• As required by law
• Transfer of necessary data to the third-party AI service provider listed below to deliver AI features (see 4.1)

4.1 Third-Party AI Service Provider: Volcengine (Beijing Volcano Engine Technology Co., Ltd., a ByteDance company)

The App's AI features rely on speech recognition, speech synthesis and large-model services provided by Volcengine. Before you use any such feature for the first time, the App shows a prompt explaining this and asks for your explicit consent; no data is sent to Volcengine until you agree. The data shared, how it is shared and why:

• Mabao voice calls: Your voice audio, its transcription, and the reply text Mabao will speak are relayed in real time through our server (auth.malinguo.com) to Volcengine's speech-recognition and speech-synthesis services (if the real-time channel is unavailable, the App sends them directly to Volcengine), to recognize what you say and generate spoken replies. When a call starts, the learning-memory summary Mabao keeps for you is also sent via our server as conversation context.
• Mabao text chat: Your text conversations with Mabao and the learning-memory summary Mabao keeps for you are sent to our server (api.malinguo.com) and then forwarded to the Volcengine Ark large-model service to generate answers.
• Tile Recognition: Tile photos you take or select are sent to our server and then forwarded to the Volcengine Ark large-model service to recognize the tiles.
• Not shared: Your phone number, nickname, contacts, precise location, payment information and other identity or account data are never sent to Volcengine.
• Safeguards: All transfers are encrypted; Volcengine protects this data under its service agreement to a standard no lower than this policy, and its servers are located in China.
• Turn it off anytime: You can disable data transfer to third-party AI services under "Me → Settings → AI Services & Data". When disabled, Mabao voice calls, Tile Recognition and Mabao text chat are unavailable; all other training features are unaffected.

5. Children's Privacy

This App is an educational board game learning tool with no gambling content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us for deletion.

6. Your Rights

• Access: View your personal information we store
• Correction: Modify inaccurate personal information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information and account
• Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent to data collection at any time

7. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be notified within the App. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
